COMP 370 : Software Engineering
Brief Description
This deliverable amounts to 10% (see the course syllabus) of the entire course grade. In particular,
whatever you (or your team) obtains as a score will be scaled to this value for the final grade compu
tation. Thus, for final computation your points x is converted using this: [x (points) = 10x/100] %
assuming you have 1.0 scale factor.
A participation journal [a detail of each member’s contribution(s)] is required as a key component of
this submission and will determine grades of each member. For example, a zero-participation in this
component will attract 0% for such team member.
In this deliverable, you will create a use case diagram for your proposed system and describe three
key use cases in your diagram following the description format presented in class (see page 27–32 of
slides on Developing Requirements - Chapter 4) with a usage scenario for one of the key use cases.
Recall, each use case models only user interactions with the system it describes. It does not model
computations the system performs or actions the user performs manually.
Just as presented in class for the Banking Management System example, you are to create a require
ments statement for your system, and from your statement — you will deduce its class model. The
model should be converted into its Umple (i.e., *.ump) representation.
