Marking guide and submission guideline
Presentation on capital market analysis (individual) worth 15%
You are required to submit the presentation video using the Moodle presentation submission link for ACX3150. The information in the presentation
slides should be based on the content of the topic of week 2 ‘Capital market analysis’ for your chosen company. The presentation slides and video is
worth 15% of the total in the unit.
The due date for presentation submission is as below:

Remember to provide your details on the first slide of the presentation document. The slides and the presentation should look professional. The
presentation should not be for more than 8 minutes. The recording of the presentation should include both the slides as well as your face. Upload the
recording on Moodle using the presentation submission link in the assessment folder. You can use Zoom or any other platform to record your presentation.
Your presentation video will be marked based on the following criteria, and marks will be deducted for not meeting the requirements:
1. Issues must be covered in the presentation as per the requirements of the topic of capital market analysis for your chosen company (see the table
below)
2. Recording beyond 8 minutes will not be considered when marking

Note: Students will choose a company from a list of companies provided in the tutorial. Individual students will follow the same company
for presentation, assignment 1, and assignment 2.

Comparison with an index and a comparator company will add value.

Calculate the bid-ask spread for any given point in time. Comparison will be useful
Show volume percentage and 52-week high and low comparison for the stock and provide a brief
discussion.

News and disclosure
analysis
Identify 2-3 major events that resulted in a significant price change in the last 12 months (you may have
to search the internet/company website/ASX website for these events).
Prepare a brief report interpreting price-performance trends and some potential reasons for significant
price movements.
Link significant price movements to information related to the key events over the last 12 months and
show them on the price chart. Events could be a combination of company-specific, industry-specific, or
macro-level.
Comparison with an index will add value.
