and Management 2: Entrepreneurial finance and
marketing
Individual assignment – crafting a marketing plan for a business
case
Requirements
Watch this pitch and interaction of the entrepreneurs of RoloDoc with the angel investors of Shark Tank US
Congratulations! You have just been appointed as the new CMO of RoloDoc. Following their colossal failure in raising money from the
angel investors on Shark Tank, the leaders of RoloDoc now plan to pitch their idea for a social network for physicians and patients on
Dragons’ Den, the British version of Shark Tank. You are now in charge of coming up with a marketing plan for the social network, one
that would convince the angel investors to invest in the company.
Be as detailed as the word limit allows and refer to as many aspects of the marketing material learned in class. Make assumptions and
argue their validity. You are allowed to suggest certain modifications to the idea and the business model, as long as the overall spirit of
the platform is kept.
The analysis should come in a form of an 800-words essay.
Use headings and subheadings to make your document more readable and appealing. Diagrams and tables do not count toward the 800-
words limit. Appendices are not allowed.
This is an individual assignment worth 25% of the final mark for the module.
