Coursework Brief:
This is an individual assessment. For this piece of coursework, group work and group submissions are not acceptable
(though you are, of course, encouraged to discuss the module content and the work with fellow students).
Developing Successful Information Systems
An often heard criticism is that information system projects or the systems that they produce are too often
unsuccessful in meeting their objectives.
Explain and discuss, using relevant academic literature, the notion of success, and its various dimensions, in the context
of organisational information systems. Further, critically discuss to what extent and how contemporary digital
development practices such as agile approaches may affect some of the key success factors that have been found to
influence organisational information system success.
